The Finnish jewelery company has been built up on change, and social responsibility has played a major part in it’s activities from the outset. It has it’s own Cultural Foundation which awards grants for the promotion of Finnish culture, and part of the proceeds from the sale of the jewelery goes to supporting various charities, including projects to improve the well being of children and adolescents. Time for Africa is Kalevala’s charity jewelery, the proceeds from the sale of which are used to help young girls in areas pf Ghana afflicted by poverty to go to school on an equal basis with boys. Some of the money is also passed on to the Finland-Ghana Society to support it’s “sponsor a child” scheme. But lets get to the business, and see some photos.
I’m feeling better today.
